This Guitar has great balance of sound for rock, blues and Jazz Guitar, when plugged into an amp or sound system... it has the digital quality of pro guitar sound you hear in a studio...that sound you can only get in recording studio's ....This is an acoustic - electric guitar made for rock, blues and jazz guitar Heaven....

Most young people today have no idea how good this guitar is, this is not a cheap Ovation Celberity....This guitar is a work of art !! Better than any new Martin I played or Taylor.I have had this guitar for 4 years now....the sound getting deeper as it ages....so for those of you who think an Ovation Guitar doesn't age..get real....the top is wood....and the back is shaped for perfect intonation !! It's a dream guitar for rock, blues, jazz, classical, folk or what ever your guitar playing style is.

You can get a BIG TIME PRO SOUND from an acoustic guitar in concerts..and onstage The sound is perfect...what a warm acoustic sound full of highs, perfect midrange and bright clear shimmering lows.

This guitar shines in a rock, blues concert like a guitar on a DVD.....many times people have told me, my music sounded like a rock, blues and jazz recording on DVD when in concert. This guitar is that good - I wouldn't use any other guitar. It's a Very Balanced Guitar, I compared it to the Martins and Taylor guitars and this beat them hands down. For a rock, blues acoustic guitar you will never find a slicker faster guitar neck, with no buzzes , no deep spots...This guitar is blazing fast for acoustic jazz guitar also, easy to bend notes on the guitar neck or fretboard....you feel like your floating on air at times.....This has to be the fastest guitar neck in the world for an acoustic guitar. I would never use another acoustic for playing rock guitar, jazz guitar or blues guitar in concert. And the value of this great guitar keeps going up year after year. There is no better acoustic guitar I have played for acoustic Jazz , Rock and Blues Guitar. While playing the blues, the strings on this great guitar hold in tune very well, I do a lot bluesy songs with a lot of string bends and I am amazed that it doesn;t go out of tune much. When shopping around for a great acoustic guitar for blues and rock music,I searched for 2 months but , I could not find a Martin or Taylor guitar better than this guitar.

Now Let Me Tell You About The Best Guitars I Found -
If you looking buy a great acoustic guitar for rock and blues playing? But don't really know what to get? Then stay tuned as I tell you my Top 3 acoustic Guitar Picks to keep you rocking and playing the blues.

1.) The Ovation 1777 LX Legend Acoustic-Electric Guitar ( MSRP - List Price $2395.00 ) has a fast action neck almost like an electric guitar neck, great sound and perfectly balanced tone. This guitar is my Top Pick as the best guitar in the world to own because of playability and price,it just doesn't get any better than this folks. The electronics are second to none, hands down it sounds better than a Martin or Taylor guitars plugged in .And unplugged it also sounds better than the New Martins or Taylor guitars and This Ovation Guitar Is Priced nearly $800.00 lower in cost than the top Taylor or Martin guitars. One point I would like to make, Ovation sells the 1777 LX with D'Addario guitar strings. These strings make the guitar sound not as full. But once you put some Martin Light Gauge Bronze SP strings on this baby, look out......The neck is lighting fast, great for acoustic rock guitar, jazz guitar, and easy to bend strings to play the blues, this is the lightest acoustic guitar I have ever owned. You won't find better balance anywhere for the money.
Ovation Guitars where once considered the best guitars in the world, and they still are but most of the young kids today play the guitars thier guitar hero's play.
I do have to admit most people judge Ovation by the cheaper made Celebrity Guitars they make, but those are just shallow back guitars, no where in the class of this Ovation Deep Bowl Cutaway. The 1777 Is My number 1 Pick, for best Guitar all around.
Hope the young Kids learn this.
Also I own an Old Ovation Legned Deep Bowl 1717 Guitar I purchased in 1984, just so you folks know that guitar as mellowed with age, there is no better guitar than my old Ovation for sound, never heard an Old Martin sound better. Folks don't let people tell you Ovations don't get better with age, because they do.

2.)Martin DC-Aura Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar ( list price $3,650.00 )This guitar can do it all, the sound is a good as the best Ovations, but for the price the Ovation still wins, and Ovations neck is faster. Yet this guitar is built for greatness , It has awesome electronics, but I feel the plug in sound is a little modular or digital beyond the point of sounding as a true acoustic guitar. It has the sound of a Amp Cab Modeling syste like you'd find in some Guitar pedals today. These are studio guitar sounds that are built into the guitar, yet it is awesome. Many of you may enjoy this guitar more than the Ovation because of the Martin name, yet for the cost, I'd still go with the Ovation LX 1777.

3.) Taylor 810 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar ( list price $3148.00 )this is my 3rd Pick, Taylor makes great guitars, and this baby has great balance and sustain, excellent bass response, perfect tone,Spruce Top and India Rosewood back and sides. The only thing I don't care for is Taylor has no electroic system for this guitar and in truth Taylor guitars with electronics need to be improved on there control knobs, there's no way to really tell where your settings are.And they are on the top front of the guitars. But like I said this guitar comes without electronics.
All these guitars were designed by pure genius, it took more than a online computer science degree to build great guitar's like these. These guitars are a work of art !!

For Tons Of Information & Secrets ON - Guitars That Famous Rock,Blues Guitar Players Use - and how these Top World Class Guitarist set them up -
Please Click This Link For - The Best Acoustic Guitars - For Rock,Blues & Jazz

Click Here For - The Best Electric Guitars - For Rock,Blues & Jazz

___________________________________________

FREE Guitar Lesson Below

How To Use

Moveable Box Scale Patterns

If you want to play Professional Lead Guitar, You Must Know about these Box Scale Patterns - They Save Many Years Of Time

Why Not Become a Professional Now?

Knowlege Is The Key !!

Many top rock, blues guitar players use movable chord progressions and chord voicing with music theory to travel up and down the guitar neck. Just like those movable chords on the guitar neck, there are also what we call moveable guitar scale patterns.Another name is moveable Guitar Box Patterns. These patterns make great rock, blues and jazz guitar players into super, almost superhuman rock guitarist.

These scale patterns make it easier to see the neck of the guitar while playing rock, blues and jazz guitar leads. At first it may seem hard to learn these patterns because you must memorize them, but once you do then the fun begins to happen. Many great jazz, rock and blues guitar players, and studio musicians in the record industry, use these moveable patterns because it's fast to improvise with them.
Anyone playing lead guitar in rock, blues or jazz music has a tremedous upper hand if they know these lead scal patterns. To use these patterns correctly you need to know the common tones in scales and the key you're playing in. Common tones are the root - 3rd - 5th & 7th notes of most scales. To make it simple, these notes are your starting and stopping points when doing scale runs on the guitar.Yet so much more can be done, than to just use these for just scales runs. The more mature guitar player will learn to play these scales patterns inside and out, at the same time creating and inventing new hot licks.Great guitarist may spend years doing this. It's been said that these 5 scale patterns can become a life time study. And I don't know if anyone who has ever learn it all, and I am talking the best in the world here.
Please remember the best guitar players in the world always keep improving, and they always keep looking for something new , maybe a new approach to playing the guitar, or a new sound.A real mature guitarist, should be able to create & invent many new hot licks and run scales inbetween melodies and hot guitar licks. And the best guitarist take it to the next step and mixing chording and hot chord vocings in solo leads.

Below are 5 of my favorite moveable scale patterns which I use in Jazz, rock and my blues guitar playing, they are all major scale patterns with the half steps between these notes in the scales... 3-4 & 7-8 for Major scale Keys.....and 1/2 steps between 2-3 & 6-7 notes of the scale for minor the minor scal key.To find the related Major key to it's minor key....please read on.Example G A B C D E F# G is the scale pattern for the G major key....but by taking the same notes and altering or re-arranging the notes into a different order starting with the E note...we get and Em key..... such as E F# G A B C D E.......take a close look at the notes........they are all the same notes, just in a differnet order. The Key of Em is the related key to G major.......so the scale patterns work together perfectly. Now if you don't know how to find the relate minor key to a major, well it's easy....take the root note and count 6 notes from the root and you have the minor key.So if we take the Key of C major .......and count up 6 notes we get an Am or A minor Key.....Look at these notes and count from C..... C D E F G A.....as I said the 6th note from the root is the related minor key to a Major key.Now with these movable scale patterns, you simple can use each scale pattern for both, Major and minor keys....smiply adust your common tones of where you'll be starting and stopping on.

Each pattern below works for both major and minor scales. Many of you may already play 5 noted pentatonic box patterns and use them for rock, blues guitar leads, but these scale patterns below are far move advanced than the pentatonic boxes and will take much longer to learn. To use the scale patterns below correctly you should already be able to read music and understand a bit of guitar theory.Because you must know where the 1 st - 3rd - 5th and 7th of a scales and also understand how chords are built. And understand it will take take to get your cordination in using these scales.Once you learn these patterns you can link them all together to cover the full neck of the guitar for almost any key you play in.

Today most blues and rock guitarist use only tab guitar to learn to play, it's sad because they also need to learn music notation and guitar thoery to become super adanvanced as a great rock, blues guitar player.

It's my hope that the Rock,Blues Guitar Blog Online will help teach and inform, the younger rock, blues guitar lovers. So please keep checking for more lessons on Rock, blues guitar here on this Internet Blog site......below are the movable, rock, blues and jazz box patterns......

___________________________

How To Create A Sweet Acoustic Guitar Sound

With The Right Balanced Guitar Strings

These Are A Few Sweet Tips & Secrets Of Professional rock, blues Guitarist,Not Told or Revealed To Everyday Guitar Players. If you follow the instructions below with an open mind you can get that old beat up guitar sounding like a professional guitar in no time.

The Best Guitar Strings for playing,Rock,Blues Guitar or even Jazz guitar really depends on the guitar body size, the shape of the guitar, and the style you play.
But for now, lets try to figure out the best set of guitar strings for your acoustic guitar.
In other words we are trying to make your acoustic guitar, sound very acoustical with perfect,Lows,Mids and High tones, that are very brilliant, warm and shimmer and are very well balance, such as the best Martin guitars you hear recorded on records.

Your average guitarist these days, will think only a great guitar such as a Martin,Taylor or Ovation with their top end high price guitars are the only way to go. That the sound of the guitar is all in the rich expensive guitar body.
But this isn't always the truth. If you place the wrong set of strings on a great guitar, it could sound as good as an average guitar with a great set of strings on it.
Most people never think of spending time to research and find the perfect set of guitar strings.
Not only do the guitar strings help make a guitar sound much better, the type and size of guitar pick also changes the sound. Personally I think a Dunlop gray .73 pick is the best all around acoustic pick for both rhythm and lead guitar. That pick is strong enough for leads, yet allows for a beautiful sweeping sound when strumming a guitar.
But lets get back to guitar strings here.

So what is the secret of finding a great set of guitar strings for your guitar....well you first must realize all guitars come in different shapes and sizes, even in the same brand names.
So if you owned lets say 2 Taylor guitars, they both could use 2 totally different sets of guitar strings, due to the shape and deepth of the guitar body.
Here's an example a cut-a -way guitar body versus a full guitar body, the fuller body has a much deeper sound and needs a different set of strings.

So how do we find these sets of guitar strings.....the answer is simple, real simple in fact.
First we must learn to listen, here's the listening trick I tell people......
Pretend that the guitar strings are a 6 band equalizer, or Eq unit like you'd use on a stereo system. You want the guitar to be totally balanced from the High strings, to the mids to the low strings, you don't want so much deep bass that you drown out your high end, but you don't want to loose your bass tone either, and you want the mid strings to shine also.
Most guitars have either too much high end or Bass or unbalanced Mid range, these are your cheaper guitars. The most expensive guitars are built with better balance of tone. This doesn't mean that the most expensive guitars are the loudest , but just the best balanced. Sometimes cheap guitars are really louder than great balanced guitars, because they project a lot of bass or mid tones but don't have great high end sound. These guitars are real boomy and cause a lot of feed back and never sound great.

But there is a way of changing things around even on a cheap guitar, by finding the most perfect set of strings, you can balance out the bad area's and even make a cheap guitar sound professional enough to record with and do a concert.
It will surprise you what a little research can do for you, sure you'll have to try out different sets of guitar strings, and if you do remember to change the strings every 10 days to get he best sound, some of you leave those strings on for months and can't figure out where you went wrong.
To be a professional guitarist you'll need to get your hands and fingers used to playing new strings, and you'll need a set of strings that stay in tune and don't pull and stretch a lot.
So what are the best strings that I have found for acoustic guitar.
Here are my 2 top choices , for deep full body guitars , I like" Martin Marquee " 80__20 Light gauge phosphorus bronze strings. And for cut a way Guitars - I like "Martin SP" 80__20 Light gauge strings. I really have never found a better acoustic set of guitar strings than these.
I know for sure I'd stay away from Gibson acoustic strings because they don't stay in tune very well, and the tone is nowhere near the Martin strings, also Fender does have some good sounding strings, still not in the class of the Martins.

One trick I didn't mention is the fact that a few professional guitarist use strings sometimes from 2 or 3 different guitar sets, and the reason again is because of better balance and trying to create a tone from a guitar no one else really has. This is nothing new, but few guitarist even think to try this. I will say it cost a lot more to do this, but don't fool yourselfs, the pro's look for every advantage. Also remember this fact, there are many professional guitarist who play no better than some of you reading this, the only reason they sound better and get contract is because they are more creative in creating a better sounding guitar, by using sneaky little tricks and by having the best sound equipment they can afford.

Truthfully I think every guitarist, who has ever dreamed of turning pro, should become a dreamer, and search their hearts and see if they need to upgrade thier musical instruments and even start to save for that new guitar, and have a good solid plan and don't be upset if it takes you a few years to realize your dreams. I know ever guitar I owned I dreamed of owning, untill I saved the money up, and it was worth the wait.

But I will tell you this, even with the best guitars money can buy, you still need the best strings, now I am not saying the most expensive strings - just the best strings, I love Martin Marquee 80 - 20 Light Gauge strinsg and they only cost at Guitar Center about $7.00 dollars. Yet I think they sound and record better on a Full Body Guitar than any other strings ever made that cost twice as much. These Light Gauge strings made by Martin are .012 to__ .054, just thought I better tell you this.

For More Info On Famous Guitar Strings Used By the - Guitar Hero's Of Today Click The Link Here -
Guitar Stars And The Strings They Use !!

_____________________________________

Below Is My CD - So Help Support - The Rock , Blues Guitar Blog Online

Hi Please help Support The Rock,Blues Guitar Blog - Below Is My CD, I think there's some great rock, blues guitar and singing on it - 10 Songs in all, 6 of my rock, blues songs get air time on radio stations nation wide. But I had a problem in school ....you see...I hated, to give oral reports in school. In other words I was to shy to do public speaking, so how was I ever to play my guitar and sing before a large crowd of people?
When I first started playing guitar a 13 years old, I knew even way back then, that I wanted the be well know as a guitarist, I studied everything, music notation, rock guitar tab, jazz scales for guitar, movable jazz and rock scale pattern boxes. I would work all summer doing odd jobs to raise money to buy rock guitar books and jazz guitar books,I listened to Chuck Berry on guitar, the Beach Boys, and finally started listening to George Benson play jazz guitar. This all before Stevie Ray Vaughan appeared on the rock, blues guitar scene. My frist taste of blues can after listening to George Benson playing jazz guitar. I then studied guitar in college and played in jazz bands, but my main love was still a rock, blues guitar sound, with great jazz leads mixed in, it was my own style, and I love it.

I was a young rock, blues guitarist , I really didn't care about the money, I loved the guitar and would play it for life even if I was the last person on the face of the earth, because it gave me great pleasure and joy.
But still in my heart, I knew I was scared to death to get up in front of a large crowd and sing and play my music.
As I grew into my music over the next few years, I ran Track in front of large crowds, but it really didn't teach me the confidence I needed, to play guitar in front of people.
Durning my college days I started playing in front of people, but I was nervous everytime I got up in front of a crowd.Sure I was a great guitar player, but I wanted to over come my fears.
It seemed impossible until one day, I learned a secret.

Before I learned my secret I use to think - Why get nervous? Why suffer the worry ? Why worry about things that could go wrong?..........ect....but you see I was telling myself not to worry and in doing so it was creating more stress

NOW MY SECRET - One day I woke up from a revealing dream I had and thought - I must refocused my thoughts - I told myself to go dead center in the very front of the stage, my reason was simple, there's no where to hide when you are there. At this point everything becomes totally clear to my reasoning. Either you play to your best, give it your all and never look back....or you're going to make a fool of yourself.
I decided to go for it, to take chances and risks on my guitar infront of a crowd, and play my heart out playing my hardest guitar styles ,that I would have noramlly reserved for my playing at home in hopes of one day playing before a large crowd, I think you rock, blues guitar folks all know what I mean - it's the guitar playing that you think you'll do down the road in a few years, but your not ready to play now because you don't want make a mistake. It's that kind of thinking that destroys guitarist,do you think a rock, blues guitarist like Stevie Ray Vaughan, would have been great had he done that?.....NO WAY !!....As Rock, Blues and Jazz guitar players ,playing professional, we need to trust our abilities. Why because, only the great guitar players ever risk it all,and if you do risk it all, you'll learn something awesome about yourself, that you can stand on stage with the best in the world if you have that kind of talent, you just have to become in tune with yourself and trust what God put in you.

And what if you crash and burn - don't worry about it, the crowd knows your a man who went for it. There will be another day soon, and you'll make it work. The real trick is this, once you master this, you can become a guitar super star !!

Yet I hope this all makes sense to you reading this - please understand me, there are many great guitar players living at home, but put them on a stage in front of a large crowd and they crack under pressure, then there's the guitar players who play real good under pressure as long as they don't risk it all. Then there's the 1 in a Million who learns to let go of the stress.

Anyways back to my story - after my dream, everything seem so clear to me.I knew what I had to do to play guitar at a higher level on stage.I had to become the master guitarist I was at home on stage. And never have a negitive thought.
But for me this was a defining moment....I was going to beat this monster and attack head on.....to play my guitar all out and to sing all out and I told my band what the plan was, I told them to hang on for dear life.
I was going to make it....or break it.....but my mind was made up.....all the way 1 hour concert at 100% full bore.... And it worked, I got so caught up in my music and was able to showcase my music at a much higher level.

Guess what happened , within a few short months I was on radio, I even had my own talk program on the air, I did concert after concert with no fear ever again.
That was many years ago I learned this, I have talked to a few other great guitar players and they all say the same thing, there comes a time, when you have to leave all your cares and worries far behind and you have to step on the stage, like you own it, like you are the master of guitar. And once you do, you finally learn to love it so much, that you never want to leave the stage. The stage then becomes home to you.....It is no longer stress but pure joy.

Today when I step on stage - I own that stage, and I feel as if the crowd is in my living room, they are my family and friends, even if I never met them before, I now can play guitar infront of 50,000 fans, or only 50 Fans, it doesn't matter. People ask me all the time how I play with no fear, how I joke with the audience and play to the crowd.
All I tell them is, I go the front of the stage, it is there I am my strongest, It is there I am one with my guitar, one with my fans and One with God.

Some how I know some of you , are wondering how to conquer this fear.
There is no better way that I know , than to tell you what I lived myself.
If it works for me....It can work for you.
Over the years My music has played on radio off and on for over 25 years. My new CD is starting to go places. My song Electric Son Rise , is played now and then on radio and has even been used several times as a theme song for radio programs and TV. Now another songs on my CD, such as, "Beyond the Clouds", is getting a lot of notice, and in the gospel world my song -." On Easter Morning", - has had tons of downloads and believe it or not, a top ringtone company sells it also. Not to mention all the online sales I get. I was shocked to hear that Churches want , ON Easter Morning to be used in Easter Plays and choirs across the country this year, it's amazing. Best of all a top music write wrote me an online leter he posted on his website, saying this - That - On Easter Morning is one of the greatest gospel songs ever written, but only he wish he could written a that song that beautifull himslef. It made me feel real good as a writer and a guitarist and singer.

Thanks GW Williams

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-14800520447333565382009-02-06T00:24:00.001-08:002009-10-06T17:33:42.320-07:00Pg 3.)Number 1 Rock,Blues Pro Guitar Amp
Notice By Law Dec 1,2009 : We do not represent or sell any products we review on the Rock ,Blues Guitar Online Blog !!

Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue

The Best Professional Guitar Amp Ever !!

My most favorite amplifier, that I have ever owned, isn't the most expensive amp I've ever purchased, but man this Fender can deliver. And it's hands down the best amp I have ever played guitar on. I am a Jazz,Rock,Blues Guitarist ands this sweet amp can do it all.
Everything from Blues to hardrock it's piture perfect, and she never breaks down.

The amp I love so much is my , Fender Blues Deluxe amp, it is an reissued amplifier from the 1950's , but it has been customized in it's newer design to add reverb and channel switching, yet while maintain the original 1950's sound of the amp.
Since the 1950's no amp has been created better than this amp in my opinion.
It's a 40 Watt Tube amp, that plays cleaner than any amp you'll ever hear.
It's great for blues Guitar, Jazz and once the hard rock guitar guys hear this amazing guitar amp, they realize they can get a better sound using this amp, plus adding sound effects makes this the perfect dream for any rock, blues guitar lover.
In my opinion this is the best professional guitar amplifier I'd take on tour.
It does it all.
No guitar player show be without this amp, it also works beautiful on acoustic guitars, much better than those cheaper acoustic guitar amps.
It also has a gain control to get you the raunchy gritty hard blues sound like Eric Clapton gets on his guitars. Fender also has many another Tube Amps, one series which is called the Hot Rod.......yet Fender went and reissued this guitar amp , I guess they figured why stop building perfection? Fender also sells a few real nice solid state guitar amplifiers, but in my heart, I know No amp, not even a great Marshall amp can compete with this guitar amp.But don't get me wrong Marshall has a different tone in their amps and they have their place in Rock guitar history, yet I have played some very expensive Marshall amps, and still in my opinion, this Fender Delux Blues Reissue is the best bar none.

The Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue - is the amp of choice for me in studio,on the road and in practice. There is no better amp, and the MSRP is only $960.00.
Yet it can be purcahsed much lower at Guitar Center for only $699.00.

Below is what it comes loaded with and the amp specs

All-tube preamp and power amp

40W

12" special-design Eminence speaker

Dual selectable channels (Normal and Drive)

Independent Gain and Master controls in the Drive channel

Bright switch for Normal channel

Effects loop

Reverb

Chrome panel

Vintage chicken-head knobs

Controls: Presence, Reverb, Master, Middle, Bass, Treble, Drive select switch,
Drive, Volume, Bright, Standby

Genuine tweed covering

Tube complement: 3 x 12AX7, 2 x 6L6, SS rectifier

Includes footswitch

23-1/2"W x 18-3/4"H x 10-1/2"D

45 lbs.

I have played many amps and I will not cut any other companies down on this post, but if you're looking for the best amp, a professional quality guitar amp, with the best sound this is it. And the price is not so how out of the ball park that you can't afford this. Trust me the online rankings on this amp is all 5 star. That's the highest I have also ever seen, I do own this amp, I play my,Gibson Les Paul guitar on this amp, I also play my 2 Ovation Legend acoustic guitars on this amp,and my Epiphone Emperor Jazz Guitar on this amp. This amp is the king on every style, just add the type of sound effects you want, it works awesome with guitar effect modeling processors such as the RP300 and RP350 all in one box studio pro amp sounds of the pro's from Digitech.

No matter what your taste on guitar is from electric to acoustic this really is the best amp I feel any pro would love to own.

Thanks GW Williams

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-75911447261372055912009-02-06T00:23:00.000-08:002009-02-26T00:04:25.392-08:00Pg4.)The Future Of Rock,Blues Guitar

The Future Of Rock, Blues Guitar

I Say Rock On Blues Guitarist !!

Where are all the great upsoming rock, blues guitarist,if you check online for young rock, blues guitar players you'll not find many.Infact most rock, blues guitaristtoday are over 50 to 60 years old.Is rock and blues music a thing of the past. 20 years ago everyone guitarist wanted to play guitar like Stevie Ray Vaughan or Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, there were tons of guitar books, with both music notataion and guitar tab. Young guitarist want to have the same old looking blues guitars use by Stevie Ray Vaughan. And today if it wasn't for Eric Claptons Cross Roads Concert ever 2 or 3 years, we would hear much from the great rock guitar and blues guitar players from the past. Sure there's a few good young guitarist coming up, but not tons of them like in years gone by.

So what has happened to the Rock, Blues Guitar World? Today the Rock,Blues Guitar Blog Online, will take a look at the future of rock guitar today.

Its almost funny,I wonder if the young guitarist care about, Rock,Blues and jazz guitar? - In fact today, it's becoming much more apparent or clear to me that, most of today's bands have at best only rhythm guitar players, who lack skills of even knowing simple chord progressions.
Just watch TV and see the new up coming bands, you won't hear much in the way of lead guitar or even simple chord voicings, let a lone any rock, jazz or blues guitar leads. Not only that the singing is getting almost mono toned - Like Dylan's music was.
Is this the future of music? Where have all the great rock, blues singers gone? Where have all the great rock, blues guitars gone? Is this the end of great music?

I for one hope not, I know there's great young rock.blues guitarist out there, and they are teenagers, I have spoken to them, but music today because of the Movie Industry is mainly, folk rock, or folk punk rock music, and it doesn't leave much room for the young rock, blues guitar players. In the old days they said Rock N Roll will never die. But Rock N Roll, the real and true Rock N Roll is only a novelty at best these days.

With Rock and Roll guitar is nearly all but gone & and now blues guitar you only hear once in a while, it's hard to believe both are becoming a lost art forms, jazz is still hanging in there also. Only because of the southern rooted blues clubs and jazz clubs does the music still live on.Also some of todays gospel music still showcase a bluesy deep southen style music, that people once loved.

Todays music, really belongs to a punk-rock folk culture. Most of these people could careless if they play great.
99.9% of these people are more interested in being famous than being able to play guitar or sing good.
20 Years ago, the voices you hear today, would have been laughed off stage.
Today it's hip to sing off key and lack any real music skills.

It's my feeling that people wake up, we only have the old timers playing , jazz, rock, blues guitar these days. Sure there's John Mayer playing his rock, blues and folk rock guitar styles, but there are very few real talented guitarist on the horizion.

This trend really was easy to spot it started truthfully about 25 years ago, when the computer age caught up with Keyboards, over the past 25 years, great piano playing started to vanish.
People wanted to become famous fast and using keyboards and computers and midi interface was the new way.
AS the computer age grew, our young people became less interested in doing music themselves, they just wanted stardom fast. If you don't believe me how hard is it the learn Rap Music?......doesn't take a college degree does it?
Please understand I am not mad at anyone.

I just want to know where tomorrows guitar hero's are coming from, or will everyone play fake guitars as in the game guitar hero, and become a false sense of a rock star.It seems money has gone to every ones heads, and everyone wants to be a star. But if you study the music and I mean really look at most of it closely you'll see the truth of what I speak. The truth is I have seen better written songs by 5th graders today. The reason most of the famous ypoung bands today get away with selling their music is because they fill their music with digital sound effects, but if you really listen there, not much in musicianship being played.

It's sad when you hear guitar players talking about being an advanced guitarist in rock or blues music today, and when they talk they say they have mastered the pentatonic scale and so now they are a pro, geeeeeeee whiz, most of us older guys went light years beyond pentatonic scales , learning jazz theory that we used in rock and blues guitar also.If the truth be know there are 1000's of scales and variations of them. The guitar is a life time learning tool that never stops from the time your born till the time you die, this is what Andres Segovia said at 94 years of age, before he passed away.

Yes there are still great guitarist, and great young rock, blues and jazz guitar players coming up through the ranks, but the numbers today are far less, and even todays best guitar players seem to lack the skills of yesterdays hero's.

It is becoming clear to me that somewhere in the near future those who can really play guitar as a top skill musician will again be in hi demand , because of the lack of people really wanting to learn at a high level.

The truth about today's music is it is very low keyed, limited in chord structure and melody, bands today don't seem to accept great musician who can over shadow them. And it's simple to see why, why would any singer or musician in a band want someone who can outplay them and take away their fame?

So America I know there's some great guitarist out there, and I am cheering for you to come out of the shadows. Build your own bands if you can't join a band to showcase your great guitar-man-ship. It's time for great guitarist to rise again, why should we wait every 2 years the hear the greats on the Eric Claptons Crossroad concert? Sure Eric does a great job, but there should be much more in the way of mainstream, rock, blues guitar, hard rock guitar, jazz guitar. Hey I love hearing people like Zack Wylds music. But not hearing the greats because of this punk-folk rock is starting to become old hat, there's not many more singers and guitarist who can let it all hang out. I don't know about you people but I want to hear the best.

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-38281049452468169732009-02-06T00:22:00.002-08:002009-10-06T17:47:29.267-07:00Pg.5}Inventive Rock, Blues Guitar Playing

Inventive Rock,Blues Guitar Playing

How Inventive are you on rock & blues guitar ?
Many top rock, blues guitarist are very inventive people.
And if you search online you may even find clues to how real inventive and creative on guitar a true rock, blues or even jazz guitar player can be.

Talking from my own point of view, I do write my own music, and I did study advanced Jazz Theory and Guitar Theory and Classical Guitar while in College. But years before college I was playing,my own style of rock, blues guitar. And I was very inventive as a rock, blues guitar artist. In fact I was 13 when my first rock song got published.
And I'll tell you this I was very creative as a rock, blues guitarist and a song writer. Every song I have written, has had their own original rock, blues or jazz lead guitar parts, I never copy other people. I take pride in my music and having my own style of playing which is a combination of Jazz,Blues and Rock Music. I like to fuse the 3 together,so I am not just a rock guitarist or a blues guitarist, or Jazz Guitarist, but a guitar players who can play all styles, even Classical.

But being real inventive as a Rock, Blues Guitarist, is to me, more than being able to do guitar improv work as on jazz guitar, or setting up and laying down fanncy rock, blues guitar tracks in a studio. But what I wanted was for my guitar to have the sound of a Rock, Blues,Jazz Guitarist In concert. I want people to know my guitar style and say , hey.... he has his own style of music, his own Rock,Blues Guitar art form. Sure if you do this you'll stand out in a crowd, but everyone will know your the real deal, a true rock, blue guitar artist, not a copy of a rock ,blues guitar hero as we see so many today online and on TV and radio.

Being Inventive is creating a new technique to playing lead guitar,or a new way of playing chords and leads together and many other idea's for that matter.
Stevie Ray Vaughan was a good example of someone trying to go farther on guitar than anyone before him had ever done.
Anyways being inventive is trying something new, that know one has ever done or played before on guitar. This is what makes Rock and Blues Guitar so great. Too see what other people come up with.

In my soul I will always search for new rock, blues guitar idea's. Being creative to me his part of the foundation of a great rock, blues guitar artist. Many people think that everything has already been done on guitar, but I am one rock, blues guitar player telling you, I have moves on the guitar no on else has seen ever. And as a Rock, Blues Guitarist if I can come up with new fresh ideas on guitar, so can others. And this makes guitar exciting and exciting for a crowd watching a rock, blues guitar concert.

So I was wondering just how Inventive are you people out there, are there any rock, blues guitarist out there who are inventive on guitar like me? I believe there's a lot of you out there.

If you want to hear something new and creative that I just recorded on electric rock, blues guitar, then when you get time check out my song - BEYOND THE CLOUDS, I did some pretty amazing moves on the guitar and so far no one has copied those moves. I challenge anyone to copy what I did....so am I bragging...no way....just trying to get your juices going, and help you get your own set of chops for playing music....... I love rock, blues guitar,I love jazz guitar and love to listen to other guitarist of all styles. So tell me about yourself if you're inventive and what you play on guitar.

Thanks GW Williams

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-42792021279826908162009-02-06T00:22:00.001-08:002009-02-26T21:26:56.122-08:00Pg.6)Rock,Blues Guitar Online

Rock,Blues Guitar Online

Rock,Blues Guitar Online

Do you ever have a hard time trying to think of all the Rock, Blues guitar websites and blogs out there, have you ever written down your past keyword searches, or are you searching for something fresh and new about Rock, Blues Guitar Online.
Well folks , below are a ton of top keyword searches people do every day.
Type in the right keywords and it will lead you to a ton of new Rock,Blues and Jazz Guitar Information - all the keyword search pharses are only seperated by a comma.
Good luck and happy guitar searching online.

For Rock and Blues Blues Guitar online searches, try Rock Guitar Lessons,Blues Guitar Lessons,How To Read Music, Online Rock Blues Guitar Music Schools,Rock Guitar scales patterns, movable jazz guitar scale patterns,Movable Scale Boxes, chords, chord theory, music theory, jazz thoery, how to improvise using jazz theory for guitar, rock chords, jazz chords, blues chords, chord ending for songs, Rock Guitar rhythms ,Blues Guitar rhythms,Jazz Guitar rhythms,Tab for Blues Guitar ,Free Tab For Rock Guitar,Free Tab For Blues Guitar,Free Tab For Rock, Blues Guitar Online, also try - Tab for Rock Guitar,Rock Blues Guitar music notation.Free Rock Blues Music downloads,Free Rock Blues Guitar MP3's online. How To Become a Rock Guitar Star,How To Make Money - Selling and Marketing your music online. How to get a music manager.Free Rock Blues Guitar Concerts.

Also check into Hot Rock Guitar Licks,Hot Blues Guitar Licks,Heavy Metal Guitar,Blues guitar riffs,Jazz guitar riffs,Rock Guitar riffs. Believe it or not a small little studio such as this can put you into the hunt of selling your CD's online and in stores anywhere in the world. And making tons of money online as people download your music 24/7 around the clock.Wouldn't you like to be know world wide as a rock, blues guitarist? Isn't this the dream of almost every rock, blues guitar player?

So are you rock, blues guitarist with me ? - Lets learn to build our own Rock,Blues Guitar - Home Studio, that you can record any instrument in ,everything from acoustic rock and blues guitars, to electric rock & Blues guitar. And also how to record vocals, and keyboards, digital drums and all while using a set of headphones. You can even do this in an apartment.

The Future is here - And with your music , you can help create a new rock, blues guitar future for years to come - Isn't Time You Rise Up In The Music Industry using your own equipment? Who knows, you may become a new rock, blues super star on guitar. I remember years ago even Bruce Springsteen release a rock song recorded on a 4 track recorder on a cassette tape. Today music equiment is much more advanced. Any rock, blues guitarist has a chance using the Internet to become well known starting out as an indie artist.

First off ,here at the Rock,Blues Guitar Blog Online, we understand you don't have the money for a multi-million dollar studio, but you want to make your dreams come true with a limited budget.
So how do you go about doing this?
Over the next year I will be teaching you about sound studio techniques to help you create the best CD possible at home.
I will be talking about equipment and giving my views on the subject at hand.

My first point I'd like to make is this, if you decide to go to a professional studio to do this work, and do it right, which means to make a pro CD each song truthfully must really be work out and that takes time to get the best results from recording engineers.
One song alone if done right, can take a several days to get it equalized right, to get it microphones in place right and use the right amount of effects and find the proper space for each instrument in the stereo field.
It's no simple task, which can cost you $300.00 an hour.
Infact most people don't realize the huge budget an album costs when a new act is signed on contract by a studio. An average CD can cost $165,000.00 or more and take a full year to produce. We all want that rock, bluesy sound on our CD's,but will the studio give a hoot about your rock, blues guitar playing? Or will they bury it under other instruments. Will your rock blues guitar ever get the chance to be heard right. So why do I say this, well listen to music today on most CD's the drums drown out the acoustic guitars, and in my opinion your rock, blues guitar playing needs to stand out. You need sound recording engineers with an ear for, rock, blues guitar, today most people are recording folk rock music and don't know much about recording lead guitar as they did years ago. TOP Rock,Blues GUITAR STARS & Their Favorite StringsRock,Blues Guitar News !! - Notice By Law Of Dec 1 2009: We do not represent or sell products reviewed on the Rock,Blues Guitar Blog

Each of the top Blues guitar players & Rock guitarist, has his own favorite set of guitar strings.
So what are the best guitar strings used for acoustic and electric Rock, blues guitar today? Let me help show you some of the best guitar strings by the some of the top rock, blues guitar artist in the recording industry today.

1.) Eric Claption - The most famous Rock,Blues Guitarist alive today - For his acoustic blues guitar playing, Eric Clapton endorses Martin guitar strings - .012 to .054 light gauge.
These strings are called " Clapton's Choice"...and are phosphor bronze guitar strings.

And for Eric's fender stratocaster rock, blues electric guitar - Eric main choice is , Ernie Ball Guitar strings , gauge size - .10 to 46

_______________________________________________

2.) GW Williams - My favorite acoustic guitar strings for rock, blues guitar in the studio and on the road are as follows.
On My 1777 LX Ovation Legend Guitar,I use Martin Acoustic SP guitar Strings, and the gauge size is Light Gauge - .012 to.054 and these strings are also called 80/20 Bronze guitar strings. These strings have the fullest sound of any string I have ever played, and are great for playing the blues on guitar, I am really a Jazz guitarist, so I can tell you honestly these strings are the best I have ever played, they are fast, and hold in tone a very long time, great for playing blues guitar because they don't go out of tune fast while bending strings.

I also own Ovation Deep Bowl 1717 acoustic guitar in excellent condition that's over 25 years old.I bought this guitar new and have had it for many years, And I use only Martin Marquee Acoustic Guitar Strings,Light Gauge 80-20Bronze Guitar Strings.
The Tops on Ovation Guitars age over the years, and man this guitar hands down sounds better than any Martin or Taylor guitar new or old that I have ever heard. I wouldn't sell this guitar for even $20,000.00 No way, if you get a chance to own one, hang onto it. It the fast acoustic playing guitar ever, the best all around sounding guitar and with these strings your in heaven plaing this guitar.

On My electic guitars I use only ,D'addario Chromes, these are high finished ribbon wound jazz guitar strings,in light gauge .011 to .050.
My Electric Guitars are Gibson Les Paul Guitar Custom, called the Black-beauty,An Epiphone Black Beauty Custom for Back up in concerts and My Epiphone Joe Pass Jazz Guitar.

3.)John Mayer - He is a Rock, blues and folk Rock Guitarist as many of you know already has his own guitar named after him now - called the, Fender John Mayer Signature Stratocaster Eletric Guitar.

It comes with vintage guitar hardware. Made with an African Rosewood Fingerboard and Maple neck. The finger board has a 9.5 in radius and the body is made of Alder. This guitar is a 21 fret guitar to match John Mayers exact specs.
You can view this guitar at the ,Guitar Center or Musician's Friend Online or at http://www.musiciansfriend.com/. This guitar lists at $2100.00 and can be purchased at the Musicans Friend for less than $1,600.00.
This guitar should become a collectors and if you purchase one, then in a few years I'd get a good Online Insurance Quote on this guitar.
At Least this is not like getting , an auto insurance quote. But it can save you a lot of money in the long run ,with all the thefts these days.
One point to remember, my home was broken into and I received a very good cash settlement because I had a good insurance company.

Anyways getting back to Johns Guitar and his Strings......
This is the same guitar you may have seen, when John Mayer was a special guest guitarist at Eric Clapton's Crossroads rock - blues Guitar Festival, this was filmed at Eric's 2004 Crossroads concert which is on recorded DVD. This same guitar was also used on John Mayers Concert named - Any Given Thrusday on DVD also.
The strings used are Fender Standard Tension ST250R, Nickel Plated Steel, Gauges: (.010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046), p/n 0730250206.

And in the newer 2007 Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival , John Mayer was a guest again playing a different guitar this time. Playing John Mayer Hit Songs GRAVITY and also BELIEF.

Lots more to come soon...book mark this page

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-62770485720550818462009-02-06T00:13:00.001-08:002009-10-06T17:58:12.163-07:00Pg 13.) Also price is an important factor, which I am placing a $3850.00 price limit on all guitars, I want to be sure that all you rock, blues guitar players could have a chance to afford one of these guitars, and I don't want any priced out of the ball park.

First we will start off with my top picks for acoustic rock, blues and jazz guitars.

My Top Picks for Acoustic Rock,Blues Guitars

As many of you know my first choice is the Ovation Legend 1777 LX

1.) The Ovation 1777 LX Legend Acoustic-Electric Guitar ( MSRP - List Price $2395.00 ) has a fast action neck almost like an electric guitar neck, great sound and perfectly balanced tone. This guitar is my Top Pick as the best acoustic rock, blues guitar in the world to own because of playability and price,it just doesn't get any better than this folks. But once you put some Martin Light Gauge Bronze SP 80/20 strings on this baby, look out......

The balance on this is AMAZING - The neck is lighting fast, great for acoustic rock guitar, jazz guitar, and easy to bend strings to play the blues, this is the lightest acoustic guitar I have ever owned. You won't find better balance anywhere for the money.Ovation Guitars where once considered the best guitars in the world, and they still are but most of the young kids today play the guitars thier guitar hero's play.I do have to admit most people judge Ovation by the cheaper made Celebrity Guitars they make, but those are just shallow back guitars, no where in the class of this Ovation Deep Bowl Cutaway. The 1777 Is My number 1 Pick, for best Guitar all around.Hope the young Kids learn this. Also I own an Old Ovation Legend Deep Bowl 1717 Guitar I purchased in 1984, just so you folks know that guitar as mellowed with age, there is no better guitar than my old Ovation for sound, never heard an Old Martin sound better. Folks don't let people tell you Ovations don't get better with age, because they do.

One point I'd like the make the Taylor makes great guitars also, but the electronics on the Taylors guitar can not compete with this Ovation, none of the Taylors can. The Ovation Legend 1777 LX, is a dream to own. And I have never heard any feedback from this guitar ever, that's amazing also for an acoustic. Very well designed and is The Rock,Blues Guitar Blogs, number 1 choice online.

2.)Martin DC-Aura Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar ( list price $3,850.00 )

I have seen the price listed on the Martin DC-Aura Acoustic Electric Guitar at near $1000.00 lower online than the MSRP down to $2800.00 from $3850.00.

And If I wasn't an Ovation Guitar Fan, this would be the best pick for playing acoustic rock and blues guitar. This guitar rings with beautiful harmonics, it's in a Rock,Blues Guitar Class of it's own, the only draw back is the neck is not as fast as the Ovation neck, but it's still a quick playing guitar.

I must say his Martin Guitar can do it all, the sound is a good as the best Ovations and maybe even slightly better, but for the price the Ovation still wins, and like I stated Ovations neck is faster. Yet this guitar is built for acoustic rock, blues and folk guitar greatness ,If you love to play the blues and rock acoustic guitar, you'll love this guitar if you're a Martin Fan. It has awesome Fishman electronics, but I feel the plug in sound is a little modular or digital beyond the point of sounding as a true acoustic guitar. It has the sound of a Amp Cab Modeling system like you'd find in some Guitar pedals today. These are studio guitar sounds that are built into the guitar, yet it is awesome. Many of you may enjoy this guitar more than the Ovation because of the Martin name, yet for the cost, and the speed play on a Guitar neck I'd still go with the Ovation LX 1777.

3.) Taylor 814-CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar -

This is a very nice guitar for rock, blues guitar, it's awesome sound and light weight body, makes this a great rock, blues guitar - that is if you mike it, I know a few rock, blues guitarist who don't care for the Taylor , Expression System electronics and tone controls,if Taylor makes such great acoustic guitars as this it's amazing, but I really wonder why they don't improve the electronics? They really need to set the electronic controls in a better location on the guitar body and also design it with a number ratio so all of us rock , blues guitarist can keep track where the sound is best on the control knobs.

The Taylor guitar scale legnth is 25 1/2 inches from nut to the bridge. The top of this guitar rings with harnmonics and is made of Solid Sitka Spruce, solid rosewood back and sides, ebony fretboard for a brighter sound, also it's amazing to hear this guitar on acoustic Blues, Rock,Folk and Jazz. The neck plays slower than the first 2 guitars above. How To Get Rich Fast - Selling Your Music OnlineComing soon .....<->

HOW TO GET RICH, Selling Your Music

HOW TO SELL YOUR MUSIC ONLINE
The Internet Way To Music Stardom & Riches

The GW Williams Music Marketing System Revealed

You've seen headlines like these - How To Sell Your Music Online,......or How To Make Money Marketing your Music & Independant artist Viral Music selling.
Or how about - Get Rich Selling Your Recordings On The Internet.
Every Musician and Independent artist wants to sell their music on the Internet and get rich quick.
But how is it done?
Can anyone do it?
The truth is yes, music is always seen as an art form and people interpret art forms in many different ways. You can be a great musician or singer, or you can be just average like Bob Dylan and still get rich. But before anyone yells at me about knocking Dylan, my point is he can't sing well at all and his guitar playing is about 8th grade level, yet he still made it to the big times, I guess you know I am not a Bob Dylan fan. Yet as an art form many millions of people love Bob Dylan, he's just not my cup of tea. And that's just my opinion only.
But it should give anyone out there hope to make it to the big time.

I know I can almost hear some of you thinking & Praying while reading this article, with hope in your hearts ....That are there....any secret marketing sales tactics and tricks to selling your music online?
The answer is yes.
There are many such tricks, to becoming famous and a household name as a music artist, and it all about how you go promoting your album on the Internet?

Of coarse there are e-books on the subject of music marketing most selling between $79.95 and $395.00 if you choose to pay for one.But most of these e-books only make money for the scam artist trying to sell you on his idea of how to get rich in the music industry.

Yet There is a very exciting method I use called Viral Marketing.
I combine this with my web skills of creating excitment and drawing in a huge mass of Internet traffic. Right now I have over 100 press releases, and several web sites.
But I also know tricks of how to get ranked on Google 98% of the time.

Anyways this is an honest way to make a lot of money very fast.
In fact Viral marketing has been around for a while now.
But it really hasn't been used in the music industry much.
That is until now.

Over the past 2 years the music industry has changed greatly, and now any independent music artist armed with digital home recording studio and some top equipment can market his music online.
Anyone can create a website or blog and submit a 100 press-release's for free online.
If those press-release's have solid content, then 100's of people may use those release's on their own websites, just be sure to put a link to you website on each press release. If each press release spreads out to 100 sites in a month, then 100 times 100 = 10,000 backlinks aimed at your website.
This is a very simple trick I have been using for a while now on different websites.
NOw get this if there are 10,000 websites link to your web site and only 3 little people a day linked form each site over to your web page, you'd have 30,000 hits a day. And if only 1 person in every 100 people downloaded your Music online you'd make at least $999.00 off a CD or MP3 selling for $9.99 each. AWESOME isn't it !!

In the old days selling CD's and records was a job mainly executed by the large studio's and publishing houses in the music industry.
But welcome to the future and 2008 ............Now days the music industry must compete with every musician in the world.
And the independent artist are putting many of the bigger studio's out of business.
Today it's becoming common for the independent artist to compete selling their music online and around the world.
With the power of the internet stores selling CD's are disappearing fast.
It's becoming common to see independent artist can make 30,000.00 in each month selling high volume of albums over the internet.
And the reason why is simple.
For years I was on Gospel radio and my songs were aired there only.
But Christian music isn't mainstream USA.
But what set me aside from other gospel musicians was I was blessed with a great gift for playing guitar at a world class level, I also have studied music for years, played in bands, wrote music, and did a lot of concerts.
Still getting heard by a major studio would be very difficult because you really must be a friend of the owner or manager or grew up in a musical family to get noticed.

In other words it doesn't matter how good you are, the truth is 98% of the time famous people stick together and do not give someone a chance to be heard.
So I needed a way to break out and show the world how good I could play.
Using Viral Marketing is just the ticket.
These days I have caused such a stir and a major Guitar shockwave across the Internet that tons of people are listening to my music. Many people think no way a Christian artist could ever play as good as I do , but it makes them check into my music and even by a few songs from me.

Right now I have a CD & Mp3 selling online, my top selling songs are, Elctric Son Rise, On Easter Morning, Beyond The Clouds,Have You Ever Been So Lonely, Rock N The Blues, plus there are more songs on my CD of 10 songs, but half of my songs, the ones I just named are now being played on radio, not Internet radio, but real world radio the kind you listen to when you drive your car.My music is starting to really get around. I caused enough of a stir online to cause a little snow ball rolling down a mountian side to become a huge massive avalanche, now over 2.5 Million people have heard of me,there are millions of post about me online, no way I could do all that myself.I have even found myself ranked in some of the top 10 guitar player polls in the country. But how good people think I am, I'llleave that up to my fans to decide.

Today my music is sold on Amazon.com, itunes.com,sony records,Rhapsody.com,Napster.com, e-music.com.
I feel the best place to sell is Amazon.com and Itunes.
I have also sold my records in stores and from my websites an even autographed a few to my best customers.

I know there are musician out there who will read this article, and it's important that they hear My Music. And see how I advertise online, check out my Amazon.com page.
I'll leave a link below later to that page.
It would be money well spent to see how the whole process works and yes I will make a little money off you, but you're also helping support this site and you're learning my tricks of the trade.

My Album is awesome. 5 of My songs I commented on already are gaining huge media attention.
So how did Viral Marketing work for me?
Well once your Album is recorded you need to find an online distributing company who will get your CD to Amazon.com and itunes.com as the others such as Rhapsody.com and emusic.com
The cost is only about 35.00.
Once your CD is uploaded online or given to the company you choose to host your music such as Tunecore, then your customers can download your CD from the Internet, using high quality no loss digital download technology that Apple Computer Inc created.Once the CD is download to a customer it sounds as good as a store bought CD or very close to it.
Companies like Tunecore.com and CDbaby can get your CD's to these big online companies online.
Without these companies there's no way to do this.
GW Williams says just look at the power musicians have no mass producing CD's and no mailing out to customers. They download the CD and I we get paid fast.
Here's the best part - I get to keep about 90% of all sales also. This is huge and unthinkable a few years ago.
I can keep 90% of the money. And anyone can do this and get rich !!
Once you up with either CDbaby.com or Tunecore.com you will know when your CD release date is.

That's when you then need to start to make plans for Viral marketing of your music.
Selling your music needs to become like a job for a few months. At least 2 hours each evening time. It's time well spent, if your even just an average good person at music and singing you could easily be buying a new car or truck in a few short weeks and paying it off with the cash you made already.

It's all about promoting yourself.
You want to create a huge stir of excitment, even have other people write press release for you like family and friends.
Just get it out there and your own your way.
So check out my music, study online on google, the tricks of Viral marketing and whitehat marketing, and maybe a little Blackhat Marketing, I won't say all the methods should be used, just be honest, but create a huge stir of excitment, and keep posting Free press release, at least 1 or 2 a day.
And study how to get backlinks to your websites and press-release's using SEO tactic's online and your own your way.

It really works, try it.
Thanks GW Williams
Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-43180813108635063592009-02-06T00:12:00.005-08:002009-02-26T14:53:11.207-08:00Pg 15.) And I feel gibson has a faster neck for playing rock, blues guitar, but this Fender is also an awesome guitar, and lighting fast neck.

I find that taller rock, blues guitarist over 6 feet tall , play the gibson guitars far easier, and shorter guitarist under 5 foot 10 inches tall ,may have an easier time on a fender, the fender is a lighter guitar also, be neither are super heavy. I personally am 6 foot 2 inches tall and I like the heavier gibson guitars, they feel better in my hands. So picking the right guitar also has to do with body types, again this rule of thumb also goes for string height each person has diffenet size hands, this must be taken into account also when playing rock, blues guitar and need the best string level for your body type.

String height- has more to do than just with having the lowest strings possible, it also has to do with responce action of your fingers when pulling off the strings when playing leads and chords.Great rock, blues guitarist know this and even spend years trying to get the biggest advantages they can when playing rock, blues and jazz guitar.

3.) Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy Custom GX Electric Guitar.... Do acoustic guitars really sound better with age?
And if they so sound better with age, then why?
And what advice is there to finding a guitar that age's well over the years?
And if you bought a new guitar today, which guitar will sound the best 30 years form now?

These questions and more on how guitars age are always on the mind, of guitar buyers everyday.
The truth though is a little complicated.
Many times a guitar that is brand new, will sound a lot better than a guitar 20 years old or older, even if the older guitar cost more years ago.
And there are many reasons why !!
There's a lot to consider when purchasing a new guitar or an older guitar that has aged.

First thing to notice about an old guitar is the neck straight? are the old frets worn out?
Is there any cracks in the guitar?
Are there any buzzes coming from the guitar electronics or the bindings...yes I said Bindings, they can become unglued also.

Even if a guitar cost $2000.00 30 years ago, and even though the wood has aged to perfection, the guitar could sound bad, because the frets could be so worn out that it causes, not only buzzing problems where the frets bottom out, but also if the frets have become to low, the strings can slightly touch other frets while being played, this cause inharmonic balance.

Here's an Example, take any string, lets say you press down on a worn out fretted area on the 5 fret on the neck of the guitar, but if the string is now too low from a woen fret, and if it buzzes a little across the 6th or 7th frets ....... even if it does this slightly the guitar will sound out of tune as you go up the neck of the guitar.
Now take into consideration, that other frets are worn over the years also, then the problem can become huge.
This can happen to the best Martin Guitars,The Best Taylor Guitars,or the Best Guitars made from any top guitar manufacture or custom guitars.
The only way to fix this problem, is to have the whole neck re-fretted and have the frets sized down by a professional guitar craftsman or repairman who you trust .

If the frets on an old guitar are in great shape, then here's the order of Older Guitar Brands That sound best in my opinion. The list is below this article !!

First before we get to the list........ I'd like to say Ovation Guitars, where once the number 1 guitar in studios back in the 1980's
But over the years, other guitar builders started rumors, because of Ovations rounded back guitars out sold many of the major brands for years.
Back in those days if you didn't own an Ovation you just weren't with it?
If you went into the best studio's back in the 80's and didn't own an Ovation, chances were that you'd have to find one or buy an Ovation to record with.
Most studio's required all their studio studio musicians to own an Ovation Deep Bowl Legend.

Over the years.......from the late 60's till today....Ovation Kept making the expensive Pro guitars at the $1650.00 to $2,400.00 range.
But Ovation also realized there was a whole group of people who couldn't afford a professional Ovation, but wanted an Ovation Guitar still......because of this Ovation made and sold tons of Shallow back cheap guitars in the price range of $350.00...... but as the cheaper guitar market grew,so did the wise cracks about Ovation being made of Tupperware or the only good thing an Ovation is used for, is floating as a boat on a lake !
Yes, these rumors where started by other builders in the guitar industry.
They waited till the moment was right to ruin Ovations rep!
Lets Face it Ovation was so huge back then, they seemed un-stop-able !!...yesssss this is true.
Today, most young people won't even look at an Ovation Guitar, it's sad, if they only knew how much better they'd sound playing a true $2000.00 Ovation Legend, it could change there lives forever !!

So What Does An Ovation Guitar Have !!

Ovations Top Guitars - have the fastest necks in the world bar none, they were the first to create an acoustic guitar with electronics that sounded like a real acoustic guitar when you plugged it in to an amp or sound system.
Ovations are solid built guitars, the new Ovations come with 2 trust rods in the neck, they are so light, you'd think you're holding a dream guitar. And they play smooth as silk.
The Older Guitar made by Ovation are somewhat heavier, but don't let that scare you away, these older Ovation Legends are some of the best sounding guitars ever made. And wow, do they get better with age.

Today's Ovations Have the best electronic's on the pro guitars of any guitar on the market, infact there electronics are so much better today on the new guitars, than the old guitars they made.
Yet on the other hand, when you own an old Ovation, like the one I own, the unplugged sound is so sweet, and true, there are no dead spots on the guitar, the neck is lighting fast.
And get this.......it's the top of the guitar that vibrates and creates 98% of the sound, the sides and the back don't come in to play except for, a deeper back, holds in more sound and movement of air as the guitar breathes.

So how can we prove Ovations age over the years?...well my old Ovation has been recorded in studio's for many years, my frets have been reconditioned because they were worn, but, now the sound is so far ahead of the old Martin guitars from the same era that I have played.
Right now I could take my old Ovation Legned 1717 Deep Bowl and stack it up against any old Martin Guitar from as far back as the 1940's , and it would shock the life out of people.
So yes the top on the Ovation aged very well.

Also the older Ovations weigh a couple pounds more than the newer lighter models, yet the sound on these Old Ovations are light years ahead of other brands of guitars that are the same age.

I also Own Other Newer Ovation Guitars, but I own only the professional Ovation Legend Models.
I do not own the cheaper Ovations, Infact Martin Makes a few Cheap Guitars also. And they don't have the sound of a great Martin Guitar. Taylor does the same thing, it's just that rumors have been created to destroy Ovation Guitars, which is a cheap shot.
If you listen to an Old Ovation Legend , you'll find a real great sounding guitar.
And once you hear that sound you'll never forget.
You'll never find a guitar with better balance tone from all the strings.

Anyways I own and love the Newer Ovation 1777 Legend , and it may be the best sounding acoustic guitar plugged in the world today.
I purchased this guitar 4 years ago, and it's starting to age beautifully in tone.
I purchased the 1777 Ovation Legend Guitar ..... because I knew, that as the guitar aged, this guitar would be of great value to me,many years down the road and I need another guitar to last another 30 to 40 years. So I purchased this guitar to be my main guitar in a few years in concerts. Till then I will use the Older Ovation, but the new one is AWESOME !!

When I purchased the newer Ovation brand new, I went into the best guitar stores and played the best Martins costing over $3500.00 and the best Taylor guitars, I was truely looking for the best guitar on the market, I have to say, my over all veiw of the guitars, was the sound of the guitar, the speed of the guitar necks, how the guitars felt, and which guitar brought me the most joy, not to mention that I checked out electronics.
Any ways, when I stacked up over 25 to 30 of the best guitars on the market, all I could think about was that new Ovation Legend 1777 Guitar....wow she was on on my mind, so I made the purchase a few days later.
I have already used it in recording.....check out my gospel song called - On Easter Morning, people love that acoustic song so much that they purchase it 24/7 infact it's on ringtones and used by many others today also.

Still people can joke about Ovation and thats sad, it's the best looking guitar and sounds as good as the best on the market today, in my opinion no guitar can come close to it !!

So.......... here's my picks below.

1.) Ovation Legend 1717 Models - the Professional Deep Bowl Guitars from 1970's to 1985 are my pick as the best guitar that age's in it class.

2.) Martin Top End Guitars

3.) Taylor Guitars

4.) Gibson Guitars

They Best Way To Age a New Guitar

Hey buddy, don't keep that guitar locked up in a case for the next 20 years, waiting for it to age.
Guitars that are played the most, have the best aged wood.
The vibrations, loosing up the guitar bring forth a better sounding and deep tone in the guitar.
Guitars that are played a lot have better ringing and harmonics from the strings.
Some of the new guitars are now infact pre-aged by placing the guitar in front od huge monster speakers for 48 hours, it's said to loosing up the guitars by about 10 years from the vibrations.
Weather this is really true or not, is for you to decide when you purchase a new guitar.
But my opinion is that it is the truth !!

Now moving on... the first 6 to 10 years of a guitars life you can still smell the Lacquer on most guitars, this is because it takes about 20 years for the Lacquer to truly dry.
Most people think, hey the Lacquer on my guitar is dry and hard, but the smell you're smelling when you first take it out of the guitar case, is the smell of Lacquer and that means it's still is drying. The longer the guitar sits in the case, the slower it dries, but don't run out and stick the guitar in the sun either, that will ruin the finish !!

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-16377723834145358462009-02-06T00:11:00.005-08:002009-06-22T11:18:28.913-07:00Pg 18.)Emails From - Rock,Blues Guitar Readers
Rock,Blues Guitar Blog's - Emails From Readers

Rock Guitar Email From - Sara Wineglass

Please Post my email if you have time. It can be done on chords during both Rhythm guitar or finger picking.

The most popular way is to use the high E outside string to play the melody part, while the rest of the strings play the chording, almost the same as you do on a piano.
Let me give a couple examples.......
First the KOOL JAZZ Song above was created with Chord Voicings, the chords where arranged on the guitar to create the melody, up and down the guitar neck.

Also I am going to repost that Kool Jazz Song Below again......Please notice that the red dot is used to help show how chord voicings maybe played.
When playing the Gm7 Chord and adding your little pinky finger to the red dot(Which is an A note or the 9th note in the G minor scale ), you then create a Gm9 Chord, this is one way chord voicings are created. If you notice also in the example below, the F#7 chord is also changed to an F#9 chord, by adding the little pinky finger to the G# note, which is the 9th note in the scale, use to create that chord.
Remember Click Kool Jazz Chording Pic to Enlarge Picture Full Size

More Chord Voicing Info For Guitar Players

You can also do chord Voicings, on other stings too, not just the high E-string !!

Below we are going to play a Funky Kool,Rock Guitar Boogie, I did place the suggested strum for the Rhythm Guitar, Please following instructions Closely !! The arrows show the downward or upward strums, also not there's a couple dead hit beats, call Palm muting.

This song uses only 1 barr chord postion, sliding up and down the neck to different frets, besure you have your frets right, the only changes in the chording comes from the 2nd high string, this string is now the string being used for the chord voicings. Also please remember as you become more advanced on songs, you can add chord voicings in melodies from any of the the 6 strings, in a song. Learn to listen to what sounds best. Learn to play chords clean, with no buzzes.

Anyways The Chords To - My Rock Guitar Boogie Is Below

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-16486115410928744062009-02-06T00:11:00.001-08:002009-06-20T23:13:08.994-07:00Pg 20.)Easy To Use Guitar Tab Chart

Easy To Learn Guitar Tab Lesson

For

Rock Guitar Tab,Blues Guitar Tab, Jazz Guitar Tab

Easy To Learn Guitar Tab Chart - For Beginners

Easy Guitar Tab Chart Below !!

Click Guitar Tab Pic To Enlarge Full Size

There's a lot more that goes into guitar tab than I posted, but for someone wanting to understand how tab works, the above tab guitar diagram gives a good idea, just how and why tab was created, but I'll get into that in a couple minutes below.

Classical guitarist and Many Jazz Guitarist both call TAB a Cheat method, and I have to agree somewhat, I feel music notation and reading music is far more important.

While I do agree that Guitar Tab, does give a guitarist and idea of where an artist is playing the notes on the fretboard, it also leaves out the creative playing style of someone being creative. .
I would rather heard many different ways that artist play the same song, than hearing the exact song everytime. This is something great guitar players do !!

I feel tab does help the beginner, but most advanced guitarist leave tab behind and create their own style of music years down the road !!

Like I said, up above, there's much more that goes into Tab , than I posted in the chart above.
So please under stand if you're a Beginner on guitar, that tab can also have, timming staffs, hammer on's and pull off instructions, and tab can show you where to bend notes, and play trills, and so much more.

Plus tab can be used along with music notation. If you wish to learn much more about beginning tab lessons, please go on google and type in the browser, FREE Tab Guitar Lessons, there's tons of them online. I would help out more here more if I had the time, but I travel a lot and have concerts to do. So I am limited time wise...........but I did want a chart here so the beginner can see what tab really is and get an idea, how and why it was created !!

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-46350987091347251722009-02-06T00:10:00.002-08:002009-06-22T11:31:01.656-07:00Page 21.) Remember if it seems hard to you, that good things come to those of you who keep at it. This lead really isn't that hard to play, a top guitarist would have this down in a couple minutes time. An average guitar play though might spend a couple weeks to get it right, so whatever your level, keep at it. The longer I play guitar and write music, the more I realize there still is to create. And creating is learning also !!

At first if you don't get it right, keep at it, these 2 parts put together make a hip little rock-blues lead in the key of G

Anyways...... I didn't want to over do this lesson, I just want you to play something, that will make you feel good, the next time you play infront of your friends or music teacher.

Also, be sure to use a guitar pick, if you don't use a pick, then start to learn, a great guitarist uses a guitar pick and his fingers both......I can play Rock,Jazz and Blues Guitar using a pick. I also can play Classical guitar Finger Picking, or any style finger picking.

Here's the link To...Jordan Rivers Rock,Blues Guitar Web Site .... go to http://www.freewebs.com/musicnewsusa
No Web Sitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11778530322319874405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6152473509147699337.post-53706990952824836292009-02-06T00:09:00.006-08:002009-06-23T22:26:50.745-07:00Page 23.)
